A Selection of Clyne Heritage Society’s New Archives on Display [Brora]

16 June 2016, Starts: 19:30

A selection of Clyne Heritage Society's new archives on display

Brora Heritage Centre (NOTE: NOT Community Centre Lounge, Brora, which is usual venue for society meetings).

Clyne Heritage Society's popular annual Open Archive Evening is to be held at 7.30 on Thursday, June 16th at the Brora Heritage Centre - not the usual Community Centre venue. This favourite event will again feature a selection of items, many of which have never been previously displayed, donated to the Society's Archives, such as artefacts, photographs, documents, maps etc. It is an informal evening, for browsing and chatting about the items on display - and just general socialising!

The Society's high-resolution scanner will be there too, so please bring along any photographs, documents etc which you may have, to be scanned on the night for the archive.

The event will be held in the recently taken over Brora Heriatege Centre on Coalpit Road, Fascally, Brora - follow the signs from the A9 at Brora Bridge. The meeting is open to all and there will be a raffle (donations always welcome). Refreshments and admission are free. Anyone wishing to join the Society will be made most welcome. Information on the Society's activities can be found on its website: www.clyneheritage.com or on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
