Travellers’ Tales: The Summer Walkers

Travellers’ Tales: The Summer Walkers is an evening event, showing two films “The Summer Walkers” by Timothy Neat and “A Sense of Identity” by Jess Smith.  The screening will be held in Am Fasgadh, our museum store, followed by a Q&A session, featuring Essie Stewart (featured in the work of Timothy Neat), Shona Main (the filmmaker documenting the event at the museum) and Jess Smith, Storyteller.  Following this, audience members will have the opportunity to see some of the fascinating objects within the Museum collections which have a connection to the Traveller community, and to hear about the long connections between the museum and the Travelling community.
