Caring for Community Archives

On Wednesday 11th September the Highland Archive Centre in Inverness will be hosting, in collaboration with the Scottish Council on Archives, a day-long free workshop for those who work or volunteer with community archives.  The event will provide attendees with an insight into basic data protection and copyright legislation, explain how the Highland Archive Service and Am Baile can provide support to community archives and provide a networking opportunity.  Further details will be released nearer the time but to register interest in attending please contact archives@highlifehighland.com.
