Scottish Salt Symposium

A two-day Symposium in Brora, the most northerly coal-fired sea salt manufacturing centre in the UK, will bring salt historians, archaeologists, and enthusiasts together to celebrate this vital but little-known Scottish industry. There will be talks on Saturday, and fieldtrips on Sunday. Details will be posted on the website with booking information. Venue to be confirmed. Cost £20, includes light lunch and refreshments on Saturday.
