A celebration of community archaeology achievement by ARCH supporters [Strathpeffer Community Centre]

To celebrate the achievements of our Stop, Look and Listen projects, and to give people a chance to find out what others were doing, we are having a one day gathering on Saturday, 22nd September, 10:15 to 3:30 at Strathpeffer Community Centre.

 
As you’ll see below we’ve a varied programme on offer for the day. We’ll also be having a mystery object display. Bring along an object or a photograph and see if others can identify what it is. The event is free, includes lunch, and we’ll arrange busses from the areas the courses took place in!

11:30-12:30: Our community heritage : Participants from the ARCH courses share their experiences of learning with ARCH and together about their local area
12:30-1:15: LUNCH

1:45-2:15:  PiP and Display the Past workshops
2:15-2:45:  Delve and Living in the Past workshops
For those not attending a workshop, there will be exhibitions to see and workshops/walks on offer

3:15-3:30: Coffee/tea and book launch
