From Heritage to Creativity: Spectrum Centre, Inverness,

Workshop organised by Scotland's Urban Past in association with Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland

The event is aimed at a range of participants, for example:

* community groups and organisations doing creative work who would like to incorporate more history into their projects
* community groups and organisations doing history and heritage who would like to think about more creative outcomes
* anyone who would like to find out more about the opportunities with Scotland's Urban Past, Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland and the new People's Parish project.

Inspiration for all, open to all. Discover how community groups working on the story of their places have dreamt up imaginative, creative outcomes making a greater impact and how you can do the same!

Learn how to create a drama script with playwright
May Sumbwanyamb, to create a graphic novel with Magic Torch or learn how to craft a story for live telling with storyteller Andrew MacKintosh.

All workshops, entertainments, refreshments and lunch are included in the £5 fee - and plenty of networking. There is also the opportunity to give a snappy one-minute talk to get people interested in your own project. Just let me know if you're interested.
