Fiona J Mackenzie, Canna House Archivist for the National Trust for Scotland,  will speak  about Margaret Fay Shaw's life-work collecting songs in the Hebrides and compiling a collection of over 9000 images taken over the course of 60 years. Her range of travel included trips to Speyside and Fiona will show some of the scenes and people from these Highland images in the hope that one or two can be identified. Fiona will show some of Margaret's original films, the sound recordings of John Lorne Campbell and her own voice to tell us the story of the incredible folklore and folksong legacy.Fiona's talk will start at 2pm, but join us for a bowl of soup, from 1pm if you can
