About this event

Come and hear to this talk by Eve Boyle, Communities Liaison Manager, Historic Environment Scotland about the Battle of Nechtansmere and the debate about whether it took place locally.

It was one of ancient Britain's most decisive battles between the Picts and Anglo-Saxons. The archaeological digs at Torr Alvie and Croftgowan may shed some fresh light on these views.

The talk will take place at Kincraig Community Hall and starts at 7.30pm, please arrive 10 mins early. The hall has free parking and disabled access.

Pre-booking is required.

On arrival, please make yourself known to the Badenoch Heritage staff, who will check your registration.

Face masks are required to be worn indoors, unless medically exempt. Sorry, no food or drink will be available.
