WWII Digital Collection Day [Wick]

25 November 2023, Starts: 10:00, Ends: 15:00

Nucleus: Caithness Archives is running a Digital Collection Day as part a UK-wide project hosing community events aimed at gathering and digitising material related to WWII. This is being done now as the stories and objects of the men, women, and children who were part of the 1939-1945 generation are being lost. By capturing a digital copy for an online archive, they can be preserved for future generations. If you, or someone you know, has WWII related stories, objects or records, then please come to our collection day to help capture these invaluable archives for posterity. There will also be a display of WWII records in our public searchroom.
