Talk by Norman Newton

Highland Archive and Registration Centre, Bught Road, Inverness

Lunchtime talk sponsored by Workers' Educational Association (WEA). Cost: £1. No need to book

Description:

Norman Newton will talk about Pierre Delavault, who though born in Paris came to Inverness as the Art Master at Inverness Royal Academy in 1890. In 1903 the Inverness Courier published a book of watercolour drawings of Inverness buildings, with accompanying text. His book is an important source of information for buildings which have now disappeared.
