ARCH Film Festival
In a new venture, ARCH will be running a film festival showing films relating (sometimes tenuously) to archaeology – good and bad, serious and funny!

Come share in the laughs—and possibly some serious discussion too about the portrayal of archaeology in the media. Popcorn will be on offer too!

Friday, 12th November:
Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark
(what else could we start with?!)

Friday, 10th December: Timeline
Time travelling from an archaeological dig to the medieval site being dug.

Friday, 14th January: Bonekickers
Cult television program focussing (sort of) on the adventures of an archaeological unit.

Friday, 11th Februrary: The Mummy
Pyramids, unsuspecting archaeologists, a curse and a mummy come back from the dead…

Friday, 11th March: Rob Roy
Highlanders, droving, scenery – and the accents!
