Description:
An examination of the Northern Highlands with its complex historical landscape that influence and shape our understanding of the Highlands of Scotland. Using information compiled by the RCAHMS and Historic Scotland this talk will try to explain how the landscapes of the Highlands have come into being and how the history of the Highlands can explored by looking at it landscape.
ARCH lectures are held on the last Monday of every month (except December) from October to May at Dingwall Community Centre, 7:30, followed by coffees and teas. Suggested donation of £3 per lecture.
