Outlander Day at Highland Folk Museum

A relaxed and welcoming day celebrating all things Outlander 

This is a real Outlander filming location. Scenes were filmed here, including the famous wool waulking, and the women who took part in filming will be joining us on the day. What you can expect

• live wool waulking with the women you saw on screen
• Outlander talks and behind-the-scenes stories
• Highland traditions and everyday skills from the past
• plenty of time to wander the historic township and soak up the atmosphere

As you walk through the buildings and lanes, it genuinely feels like stepping into the 18th century, the world Claire and Jamie lived in.

Dress up if you fancy. Have fun. Meet wonderful people who share a love of Outlander, history, and the Highlands.
