A course in ceramics identification has been organised by SGIfA (Scottish Group of Institute for Archaeologists) for Monday March 7th at the new Inverness Archive building (up the stairs and across the hall from the archive). Below is a bit more detail. Lunch is included in the course cost of £60.

An Introduction to Ceramic Identification – Medieval to Modern
This short introductory course will be run by pottery specialists George Haggarty and Derek Hall. It will include a number of lectures on pottery identification and hands on sessions.
