Celtic & Viking Embroidery

Workshop let by CATU Living History Team.

Join the team from CATU for a hands-on, practical embroidery session with instruction using Celtic or Viking designs at Historylinks Museum. No experience necessary. You can then take the 30cm x 30cm piece of cloth home and create a bag, cushion, or whatever takes your fancy! This workshop is for people aged 16+

Samhain Feis Living History Reenactments [Dornoch] ...

As part of the Autumn Highland Festival, Historylinks Museum and CATU Living History Group are hosting Samhain Feis over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of November.

There will be a variety of living history demonstrations running on the mornings of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November at Historylinks Museum. Come along and join in to learn about this fascinating period of early mediaeval life in the northern Highlands, including clothing, food, jewellery and music.
