A presentation exploring the lives of two colourful characters in the background of the '45 conflict, one a young upcoming British officer with a bright future. The other a mastermind who played both sides until his chequered past finally caught up with him.

Join us on the 7th of June to learn more about these two figures from history and how their lives impacted the '45 rising.The presentation will last about 50 minutes with time for questions at the end.

Vintage Sewing Afternoon

Led by Jo Henderson

Organised by Historylinks Museum. Cost £25, including materials and refreshments. Booking via Historylinks website.

Step back in time for a fun afternoon of sewing using original  crank handle Singer sewing machines.

Jo will teach you how to use the machine to create a bright and cheerful vintage style apron. 

Fabric is provided but if you have a piece of material that you have been wondering what to do with, this could be the perfect project!

Tea and scones will be served (in china cups of course!)
