Description: The seminar will focus on recent research that has explored the value of maps in understanding the history of transport and communications. It will also look speciically at particular people - surveyors and engineers - who have placed a significant role in developing transport infrastructure and their maps.

Try your hand at making a shelter, building a fire and foraging for food. £3 / £2. This walk is their Grade B, requiring low level-reasonable level of fitness.
