Centuries – Clash, Crafts & Ceòl
Explore Dingwall’s remarkable historic timeline! This day of joyous celebration, part of Dingwall 800, encompasses Vikings, Picts and Medieval reenactments, craft stalls, food offerings and two music performances. The Fèis Rois Ceilidh Trail will take to the stage during the day, while Rhythm & Reel invite you to dance away the evening.
Sat 8 August, High Street procession, 12noon, free admission

Guided Walk: Achtercairn Archaeology Trail
Led by Jeremy Fenton
Organised by Galirloch Museum, where the walk starts and finishes. Please book ahead of time and meet by 1:30pm. Further details and bookings from the Museum website.
This Guided Walk will take us past ten stone circles (remains of Atlantic Roundhouses) and many other features including wildlife and wonderful scenery. The walk is roughly two miles long, lasting around two hours on rough paths.
