Hidden Tain - the Links and the Shore ...

28 November 2011

Starts: 19:30
Ends: 21:20

Led by archaeologist Cait McCullagh this oral heritage session will look at the Tain Links and shore at the water routeways and possible harbours, as well as a likely Earlier Church foundation.

If you'd like to add your local knowledge to what is known about Tain, or to simply listen and learn from others we'd be delighted to see you at this oral heritage session.

ARCH is working with the Tain Civic Trust and Highland Archaeological surveys on a European Community Highland LEADER 2007-2013 Programme funded scoping project to look at the potential for further historical and archaeological investigations of the Burgh of Tain - and your knowledge is crucial to our understanding.
