Description:
Cathy MacIver of ARCH will provide a simple and accessible introduction to digital mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) for archaeologists, by exploring a variety of interesting case studies taken from all over Britain.
ARCH lectures are held on the last Monday of every month (except December) from October to May at Dingwall Community Centre, 7:30, followed by coffees and teas. Suggested donation of £3 per lecture.

Heritage Along the Kyle Line
This is the third course in the series, focussing on the final section of the Kyle line, from Lochluichart to Dingwall. Find out about archaeological sites and buildings along the railway between Lochluichart and Dingwall, and create a travelling display. We will try to arrange some research time on the train during the course.
Dingwall Community Centre,
Mondays, 25th April for 8 weeks, 2:30-4:30pm
Cost per session: £2 / £1 optional for seniors / free to low income
All welcome - no previous experience necessary.
If you will be travelling by train on the Kyle Line to and from classes, contact us to arrange passes. We can also help with childcare.
